Puppets
are an excellent way to teach Bible stories and Christian concepts to children.
They are also an effective tool in sharing to young kids God's plan of salvation.
Puppets can hold the attention of young kids longer, but as we have witnessed
in our church, kids can come in all ages. Even adults enjoy puppet shows for
they can also find a blessing from the Lord while watching a puppet skit.
The
UBC puppet ministry is a program designed to get youth and younger kids involved
in a church ministry at a young age. It is also open to adults who have a passion
for teaching God's word to children. The ministry is used mostly on Sunday children's
stories and Vacation Bible School. It can also be a useful outreach tool and
an enjoyable part of a church's special event program.
If
you love seeing a sparkle in the eyes of a child and learning God's word at
the same time, you can be a puppeteer.
