Pastor
He
served as trustee of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley,
near San Francisco from 1994 to 2004. He also taught at Golden Gate Baptist
Theological Seminary, Brea Campus, as adjunct professor.
Pastor
Raganas is married to the former Nelly Baja for the last 45 years. They are
parents of three wonderful sons: Ronnell resides in Los Angeles, John lives
in Kentucky and Rolando Jr. in San Francisco. Their only grand daughter Kayla,
and Laura, John’s wife, all reside in Campbellsville.
His
undergraduate educations were done at the University of Mindanao in Davao
City (BA), and at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary in Baguio City
(BD).
Pastor
Raganas shepherded Immanuel Baptist Church in Davao for six years before
coming to the United States in 1969. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated with a Master of Music degree
in 1974.
Rev.
Rolando A. Raganas is the senior minister of United Baptist Church in Carson,
California. He came to UBC on April 1, 1991 from First Baptist Church, Massillon
Ohio, where he served as Minister of Music and Evangelism for six years.
Prior to Massillon, he also served as Minister of Music and Youth in Campbellsville,
Kentucky, for thirteen years.
